The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

Is a lay Catholic organization 

whose mission is:  

To live the Gospel Message 

By serving Christ in the poor 

With love, respect, justice and joy.

The Mission of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul implies that as Vincentians we:

  • see Christ in anyone who suffers;
  • come together as a family; 
  • have personal contact with the poor; 
  • help in all possible ways. 

WHO WE ARE

We are a Charitable Organization and are located in Pembroke, Ontario, near the downtown area. We have been in operation since October 2007 and we share a space in the Cathedral Church basement.

We provide a homemade meal prepared on our premises to approximately 50 to 60 people. We operate a Soup Kitchen each Saturday, Sunday and Monday all year roundHours of Operation:  11:30 a.m.  till Noon.

Serving in Hope

Where there is poverty there is hunger. 1 in 7 Canadians lives in poverty. We will not let anyone go hungry.
