Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon Governor General of Canada, has awarded the Sovereign’s Medal for volunteers to Deacon Adrien Chaput for his tireless efforts on the behalf of the most vulnerable in our community, especially in respect to his work and leadership with The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and the Grind)

As we celebrate the 6th year of SSVP preparing the community dinner, we reflect on the growth and transformation that this event has inspired in our community. Each year, we gather to not only share a meal but also to build connections among residents, foster a spirit of togetherness, and support those in need. Food Drive and Christmas Hamper Project 2025

Aims to bring joy and relief to families in need during the holiday season. This initiative encourages community members to donate non-perishable food items and essential goods, which will be thoughtfully assembled into hampers and distributed to those facing hardship.
